Community Launch Events

Beginning in the spring of 2017, we hope to host a Community Launch Event at every Education Service Center in Texas. During these events, we'll showcase the assessment, describe the training plans, and answer all of your questions about TX-KEA. Contact your Education Service Center for more informatinon.

The TX-KEA research team is finishing our scaling study for the new Texas Kindergarten Entry Assessment.  Learn more about the scaling study here. The following school districts participated in the study:

Do you want to participate in the development of TX-KEA?

As we develop TX-KEA, there will be multiple opportunities for stakeholders to provide feedback, ask questions, and learn more about the project.  In particular, we will have several opportunities for Texas teachers, administrators, and other stakeholders to learn about TX-KEA and participate in the development of the assessment.

  1. Informational Webinars

    Twice a year, the TX-KEA research team hosts information webinars about the assessment, where we showcase items, give updates on the test development, and discuss our outreach and training plans! Join our listserv to receive our webinar invitations!

    Focus Groups

    To help guide the development of TX-KEA, our research team will host a series of focus groups with teachers, administrators, district staff, and early childhood coordinators throughout the research project. If you are interested in participating in a focus group, please join our listserv or email us at texaskea@uth.tmc.edu
